I’m Hannah, a Behaviour Consultant and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) based in Vancouver, BC—and the heart behind Luma Behaviour.
My personal experiences have shaped my professional mission. Growing up in an environment where I often felt different and excluded, I developed a deep desire to create spaces where others could feel truly seen, supported, and welcomed—just as they are. This early experience has fueled my purpose: to help every child, regardless of how they learn or express themselves, feel included and empowered.
I’ve always been a curious listener (my friends say it’s one of my best qualities!)—and that skill has helped me connect with people’s unique perspectives. Over time, I realized I loved exploring how people think, learn, and grow. I studied Clinical Psychology and later completed a Master of Education in Autism and Developmental Disorders at UBC, where I found ways to bridge science with compassion.
For the past several years, I’ve worked with neurodivergent children and their families, most often with children aged 2 to 12 with autism, ADHD, and developmental disabilities. I design and deliver individualized programs across home, school, and community settings, while also training and supporting the teams around each child. My work is guided by science, yes—but also by heart, by culture, and by connection.
At Luma Behaviour, my approach blends evidence-based strategies with creativity, kindness, and collaboration—because I believe that every child’s mind blooms differently, and every family deserves a guide who respects that.
