Our ABA Approach

Evidence-based teaching, guided by your child.

Here is how we decide what to teach, how we teach it, and how we make sure it’s working.

Evidence-based

Research-supported strategies, carefully monitored

Boundaries respected

Your child’s dignity guides our work

Family on the team

Throughout the whole process

How we teach

A path designed just for your child.

1

We choose goals together

We listen to your concerns and choose meaningful goals with you.

You share your concerns, and we listen

We do the behaviour and developmental assessments

Meaningful goals, chosen together

2

Direct, structured teaching (DTT) or Natural Environment Teaching (NET) and teaching through play?

Both of these approaches are ABA and evidence-based. Choosing between these session structures depends on

  • Your child’s skills
  • Personality
  • Age
  • Interests
  • Your family’s preferences

3

We follow your child’s cues

Your child’s boundaries and dignity guide our work. We pay attention to:

  • Their words
  • Body language
  • Actions

We respond to signs of discomfort

For example

Your child doesn’t want to be touched

We respect that boundary

We find another way to support their learning

4

We check what’s working

We carefully monitor how each strategy works for your child.

Is it helping your child learn?

Yes

We continue it

or

Not yet

We adjust our teaching.

Your feedback is welcome at every point as we adapt support.

Your family is part of the team

Throughout the process, we listen to you and welcome your feedback as we adapt support to your child.
